DIY Project: Metal Rose

- Sheet of 22 gauge steel- rose petal and leaves
- 3/16 round steel rod -stem
- 1/8 round steel rod - thorns
- 1/16 round steel rod - branches
- 1/8 plate for base
- 1 1/2 square tube - holder

- .035" Gasless Flux Core MIG Welding Wire
- Welding gloves
- HVAC duct hand crimp tool
- Welding side cutter/ pliers
- Work gloves
- Various clamps

- Anvil or hard surface
- Hammer
- Chisel
- Wire brush
- Grinder
- Metal snips
- Hack saw

3. Building Process
3.1: Draw the general shape of the petals and stem on paper. (00:38)
3.2: Cut the metal sheet according to the size of the petals. (01:08)
3.3: Create realistic folds on the metal petals. (01:35)

3.5: Shape the metal petals into the desired form. (03:05)
