1. Material

  • Sheet of 22 gauge steel- rose petal and leaves
  • 3/16 round steel rod -stem
  • 1/8 round steel rod - thorns
  • 1/16 round steel rod - branches
  • 1/8 plate for base
  • 1 1/2 square tube - holder

2. Equipment

Flux-135-PRO Flux MIG/Lift TIG/Stick 3-in-1 Gasless MIG Welder
E71T-GS/10LB-0.9 .035" 10LB Spool Gasless Flux Core MIG Welding Wire
  • Welding gloves 
  • HVAC duct hand crimp tool
  • Welding side cutter/ pliers
  • Work gloves
  • Various clamps
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Channel locks
  • Vise
  • Anvil or hard surface
  • Hammer
  • Chisel 
  • Wire brush
  • Grinder
  • Metal snips 
  • Hack saw
  • Cut off saw
  • Screw and nut

3. Building Process

3.1: Draw the general shape of the petals and stem on paper. (00:38)
